Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the contractual relationship between the shop Jasmin d'Orient and any person making a purchase on the website https://jasmin-dorient.fr/.

1. Purpose

These terms define the conditions applicable to any purchase made through the Jasmin d'Orient online shop. Purchasing a product on this website implies the buyer's unreserved acceptance of these terms of sale.

2. Products

The products offered are the traditional and Kabyle dresses presented on the Jasmin d'Orient website, while stocks last. Each product comes with a detailed description and photographs that are as accurate as possible, although minor colour variations (due to screens or artisanal dye baths) may occur.

3. Prices and Payment

  • Prices: Prices are shown in euros (€) excluding shipping costs. Jasmin d'Orient reserves the right to change its prices at any time, it being understood that the price shown in the catalogue on the day of the order is the only one applicable to the buyer.

  • Payment: Payment is due immediately upon ordering. You can pay by bank card or by the other secure payment methods offered by Shopify.

4. Orders and Processing Times

  • Once the order is confirmed, the buyer receives a confirmation e-mail.

  • Shipping time: Jasmin d'Orient undertakes to process, prepare and ship the order within a maximum of 5 business days after payment is confirmed.

5. Delivery and Customs Fees

  • Products are delivered to the shipping address provided during the ordering process.

  • International customs fees: For all deliveries outside the European Union (Switzerland, United States), import taxes, customs duties or brokerage fees specific to each country may be charged on arrival. These customs fees and local taxes are paid exclusively by the buyer. Jasmin d'Orient can in no case be required to refund or cover these government fees.

  • Switzerland: for information, clothing is exempt from customs duties and Swiss VAT is generally not collected when it amounts to less than CHF 5 (i.e. an order of about €60 including shipping). Above that, Swiss VAT and the carrier's customs clearance fees are paid by the buyer.
  • United States: customs duties apply to imported clothing, whatever the order amount. They are paid by the buyer on delivery.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)

In accordance with the applicable legislation, the buyer has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal and return the product at their own expense for an exchange or refund.

  • Condition: Dresses must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed and with their tags. Any damaged or stained product cannot be accepted.

7. Liability

In the online sales process, the seller is bound only by an obligation of means. The seller cannot be held liable for damage resulting from the use of the Internet such as data loss, intrusion, viruses, service interruptions or other involuntary problems, nor for delivery delays attributable to the carrier (La Poste, UPS, etc.).

8. Dispute Resolution

These online terms of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.

Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, we offer a consumer mediation scheme. The chosen mediation body is CM2C. In the event of a dispute, you can submit your complaint on its website: www.cm2c.net or by post to: CM2C, 14 rue Saint Jean, 75017 Paris, France.

9. Recycling and Extended Producer Responsibility

In accordance with Article L.541-10-13 of the French Environmental Code, Jasmin d'Orient is registered in the household packaging register (eco-organisation Citeo) under the unique identifier: FR555184_01GSJY.
